The medical staff is busy, leaving patients waiting without seeing them. Every time we call them, they say, "Oh, wait a minute," and then continue their chatter, even though the emergency room is generally empty. My son needed an x-ray, and the doctor asked me, "Why didn't nurse so-and-so give it to you?" I told him, "No." He said, "I told him to give it to you. It's not my responsibility."
