The location is peaceful with beautiful views, and the camp has a very authentic and cozy atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. It’s a great place to relax after exploring Petra, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience near Petra. ### ben krick 5 months ago · 5.0/5 We absolutely loved our stay at the camp. Consider staying here over a hotel in wadi Musa. The price is reasonable and the stay is fantastic. This camp has mastered hospitality and is very close to Petra, less than 20 minutes. The food was amazing, the beds comfortable, the camp owner extremely kind, and the setting absolutely spectacular. Additionally as of May 2025, the road has been completely redone so the road is not an issue at all. 80 percent of the short dirt road has been recently paved by the government. ### Tyrzah 5 months ago · 5.0/5 Excellent excellent! Recommended for groups as we were 22 ### Sara Chan Abdullah 9 months ago · 5.0/5 I arrived an hour to sunset. Was promptly greeted by a warm and friendly face of Samuel, the caretaker of the camp. He assisted with the bags and had us checked in quickly. That enables me to walk around and take photos of an amazing sunset. As we were late and didn’t want to drive out, we requested for dinner. The portion was really huge! And throughly delicious! The owner, Mr Mohamed have a very good explanation on navigating the visit to Petra as we have a small child with us. You can see his passion for his place and genuine care for his guests. I would throughly recommend this place to anyone who is game on glamping and sleeping under the stars. The WiFi connection is good and location for stargazing absolutely perfect! The only drawback is the track to the camp which is not tarred and the hot water supply for shower is a little slow. But the warmth and care of everyone at the camp more than made up for the above.
