Full day with locals in Ajloun you will start your day with experience Kishk Laban pastry making ( Kish Laban is dry yoghurt mixed with burghul and sun dried ) you will learn how to make the pies and bake them in the old clay oven on fire wood and have them fresh with a great cup of mint tea and Arabic coffee. You can also experience making olive oil bars of soap and how to infuse it with the natural herbs planted in gardens.
Experience walking in the different farming lands planted with figs, olives Pomegranates and Walnuts and experience planting a luffa ( you will also have a luffa after planting one). Then we will Experience making an earth fridge for preserving citrus fruit, the walk will take about 40 minutes.
Visit Mar Elias and learn about the old water filtration system and take a ribbon to hang it on the wishing tree.
Experience Sajieh cooking (onion, green, red, yellow bill pepper cut and fried over fire wood in a wok with chicken breasts or meat) with a woman farmer to be eaten with whole wheat bread. You will participate in the live cooking as they overlook Ajloun forest.
