An Unforgettable Hiking Experience from Dana to Petra First of all, I want to praise our guide, Motaz. It’s simply impossible to imagine a hiking trip being organized and led any better than he did. His knowledge about the history and culture of Petra and all the sights along the trail from Dana to Petra was absolutely brilliant. He also set the perfect hiking pace and added just the right amount of humor – truly wonderful! From an organizational point of view, everything worked perfectly. The food in the camps was simple but very good, and the evenings by the campfire created a great atmosphere. The only small point of criticism I would mention is that the tour operator should include tips in the total price, so that what’s given at the end really feels like a genuine gratuity.

My adventure in Jordan was nothing short of unforgettable! From exploring the ancient city of Petra with its breathtaking Treasury to floating effortlessly in the Dead Sea, every moment felt magical. I also had the chance to hike in Wadi Rum, where the red desert landscapes made me feel like I was on another planet. What truly made the experience even more special was the warmth of the Jordanian people—their hospitality and kindness. The food was also a highlight; I couldn’t get enough of the delicious mansaf, falafel, and Shawarma.. Don’t forget to try Kunafa as well 🥰

We had a great time with the team at Experience Jordan adventures. Hiking the Jordan trail into Petra was an unforgettable experience and the team at EJA made everything so smooth. Everything is taken care of and it was so comfortable and easy for us. We just had to sit back and enjoy the trip. The guide and team that we interacted with were friendly, knowledge and attentive. Couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommend.

Such a Great Experience! What an amazing trip! Our entire time in Jordan was perfectly planned out, starting with the energy and excitement of Amman during the Jordanian Independence Day, to the beach hotel on the Dead Sea, to of course Petra and the beautiful open desert of Wadi Rum, and finally to the relaxation of the beach resort in Aqaba. Our trip coordinator Shushan was fantastic and was very quick to respond to any emailed questions we had about our upcoming trip. She made us feel completely comfortable, which is exactly what I needed when about to take my daughter on a trip across the world. Our driver Ahmad was the perfect host. He made sure that at every hotel we were completely checked-in before he headed out for the evening. At every place where a local guide was needed, he made sure we met up with the guide and that we knew exactly where to find him when we were done with each tour. Ahmad even made sure our guide in Petra was someone he knew and trusted to make our walk through Petra go smoothly as we visited the many sites within Petra there are to see. It was very comforting to know that we were in good hands throughout and that we were never going to be confused or concerned with any of the scheduled aspects of our trip. Ahmad was also very knowledgeable about the country, cities, sites, and always made a point to share stories and some history about the stops we visited. We also appreciated the random stops along the trip where he would jump out and grab us coffee, tea, and yellow bread from one of the local shops, and the viewpoints where we stopped to stretch our legs while taking in the Jordan countryside. His advice and guidance were invaluable throughout out trip. We felt very taken care of every step along our journey. We loved our visit and will keep the memories close forever.
