We were incredibly fortunate to have Riad as our guide in Jordan, and we truly cannot recommend him highly enough. His knowledge was exceptional — at every place we visited, he explained the history and significance so clearly and engagingly, always encouraging questions and somehow always knowing the answer. Our itinerary was unforgettable. We visited numerous castles, floated in the Dead Sea, and experienced the magic of Petra by Night before spending a full day exploring Petra. Having Riad guide us through Petra made a huge difference — he pointed out details, stories, and viewpoints we would have completely missed on our own. We also had plenty of free time to explore independently, including the climb up to the Monastery, which was an incredible and rewarding experience. An overnight stay in Wadi Rum was another highlight of the trip, with unforgettable camel rides and thrilling 4x4 adventures through the desert. Every experience was perfectly balanced with guidance, insight, and time to explore. Beyond his expertise, Riad’s sense of humour, warmth, and approachability truly set him apart. He created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the week and made the trip one of the best we have ever had. We will treasure our memories of Jordan for years to come, and that is largely thanks to Riad being such a fantastic guide.

Warning: Touring Jordan with Adnan May Cause Excessive Happiness We had the absolute pleasure of touring Jordan with our exceptional guide, Adnan, and the experience was unforgettable from start to finish. His enthusiasm for his country—its history, landscapes, and people—was infectious. Every site we visited came alive through his incredible depth of knowledge. He didn’t just share facts; he shared stories, context, and the kind of details only someone who truly loves and understands Jordan could provide. What made the tour even more special were the moments when Adnan wove in pieces of his own family history. These personal touches added colour, warmth, and authenticity, making centuries-old places feel vividly real and connected to everyday life. We left each location with a deeper appreciation not just for Jordan’s past, but for its living culture, traditions, and communities. One thing that stood out throughout the entire trip was how genuinely safe the country felt. At no point—day or night, in cities or remote areas—did we feel even a hint of concern. Jordan’s hospitality and sense of security made it easy to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Of course, no visit to Jordan is complete without Petra. If you’ve ever considered going, don’t hesitate—go, and go soon. The site is breathtaking beyond words, and seeing it in person is something every traveler should experience. Petra and its people deserve all the support they can get, and your visit truly makes a difference. All in all, this was one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken, thanks in large part to Adnan, who turned a great itinerary into an extraordinary journey. Jordan is a country that captures your heart, and with a guide like him, it becomes a place you’ll never forget.

Just completed a 5 day tour of Jordan with Beyond Jordan. Our guide, Adnan Alkharabsheh was outstanding. He is the perfect combination of educator, historian and local who knows his country. We loved every minute with Adnan! He is the best.

An excellent week exploring Jordan with our guide Miguel/Michel, very professional and with a great sense of humor. The itinerary was very well thought out. We went via Exoticca. And Petra alone is worth the trip. We would recommend him!
