I visited OldView Restaurant & Cafe back in May 2023 after some friends highly recommended it—and I’m so glad we went! It was a little hard to find at first, but once we arrived, it was absolutely worth it. The location is right next to The Royal Film Commission – Jordan (Film House), and the view overlooking the city is simply breathtaking. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and really take in the scenery. A hidden gem with an unforgettable view!

This review is about the catering and wedding organization managed by Old View, not the restaurant itself. During the planning stage, everything went smoothly. We provided all the necessary information and photos, and the food tasting was excellent in both taste and presentation. However, on the wedding day, several serious issues occurred. The venue was very cold, and despite asking multiple times, only one heater was provided for about 100 guests, even though we agreed to have heaters ready in case it is cold. The food service was delayed by an hour due to scheduling mistakes from their side. Waiters did not show up, and two replacement helpers who were not professional servers (though kind) handled service. Food portions were inconsistent, desserts were never served, and the wedding cake arrived extremely small—barely enough for 10 people—and from a different supplier than requested.One staff member was also drunk. Additionally, the Old View representative stayed for less than an hour and then left the venue. In short, if you plan to host your wedding here, I strongly recommend not choosing Old View as your organizer. Unfortunately, we had no choice due to their agreement with Abu Jaber Caves. Sadly, no one contacted us afterward for feedback, which is why I’m sharing this review

A really beautiful restaurant with the best view over the city.

We went early in the morning, for breakfast and we were taken away by the beautifuk view of amman that we got to see from the cafe. The interior was very welcoming and gave the vibes of a traditional warm Arab ambience. The staff was very kind and explained all the food on the menu. They were even very kind to serve us some lunch bits in the early breakfast. The food was 10/10 and the bread was warm and fluffy. Will definately recomment it to anyone visiting amman! Lovely city, very kind staff, warm vibes and amazing food!

A very nice place with excellent service... and the staff are very respectful, especially Jalal and Mohammed.
