Amazing location, right next to the main entrance to Petra. Forever grateful to Ahmed, a true ambassador and asset to this hotel, as well as Amer. Highly recommended!

Visiting the Cave Bar is already a special experience, but what truly made my time there memorable was the service from Ziad. He is genuinely attentive, friendly, and professional in the way he deals with guests. He made sure everything was perfect and always checked if we were comfortable without being intrusive. His knowledge, attitude, and warm approach added a lot of value to the experience. It’s rare to find someone who works with both passion and respect, and Ziad clearly does. Thank you, Ziad, for the great hospitality — keep up the amazing work! I highly recommend the Cave Bar and especially the service provided by him.

Lovely couple of nights in this perfectly located hotel right next to the visitor centre and entrance to Petra. Friendly and helpful reception & concierge team. Clean and comfortable room. Big asset was “the Cave” bar and restaurant adjacent and part of the hotel.

It would be very easy for the Petra Guesthouse to take advantage of its amazing location right next to the entrance to Petra, or that most people only stay one night to provide a low level of service. This is not the cheapest place to stay in Petra but the service is excellent, the rooms are lovely the restaurant is in an actual Petra era cave with delicious food. Highly recommended. The only change I would suggest is not allowing smoking in the Cave bar - it must be bad for for the ancient stone and it it makes the atmosphere unpleasant inside at times.
