Al fardous cafe on Zahran St in Aqaba is cherished for its cozy, oriental ambiance where locals gather to enjoy shisha, tea, and lively football matches. The owner’s personal touch—like lending a jacket to guests and sharing stories—creates a welcoming space that feels like home. With delicious food, lovely coffee and tea, plus free WiFi, this cafe offers a perfect blend of comfort and cultural connection that keeps visitors coming back.
We were ripped off by the staff. Before purchasing, we were given a precise price, but upon payment, the price was doubled. Reading other comments, we see the same pattern: as a tourist, you're being ripped off. It's a nice atmosphere, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
We returned for hibiscus tea, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We asked the seller how much a single tea cost, and he replied clearly and twice, 1 dinar. When we paid, we demanded double the price, insisting he hadn't said anything like that.
Be very careful if you're a foreigner; they'll overcharge you, and you'll have to haggle over the price.
A great place with shisha, tea, and a local atmosphere. It is a great place to spend the evening!
