a week agoThe setting is straight out of the 1960!’s. Small cozy restaurant located inside a mall courtyard next door to McDonald’s. Large Formosa sign and lanterns light the way. Old fashioned woodwork plus small glass paneled windows open like shutters. Extensive menu of meats, poultry, fish, rices and noodles. Cold beverages but no alcohol. The noodles were excellent. The duck was served with veggies and gravy. It was accompanied with diced raw cucumbers, carrots, Chinese pancakes and hoisin sauce like what comes with Peking Duck. Very good Chinese food which can satisfy your craving for food from home. Very attentive service. A good sign was 3 other groups of Asians eating there. Our party had a full meal of 8 dishes ( duck 25JDs) + drinks for 100JD.

3 weeks agoI stopped in Aqaba during a road trip through Jordan with my son. It's a bit tricky to find, but it's behind McDonald's. Everything is good. The fried rice is delicious, but don't try the jjambbong.

3 weeks agoThe atmosphere is a bit dirty, so I took off one star. The food is delicious. It's a bit hard to find, though, as it's right behind McDonald's. It's in the same building as McDonald's.
