a week agoI’m still a member at Gold’s Gym and honestly I can’t believe what I’m seeing there. The coaches watch ladies train the wrong way and take zero responsibility to guide or correct them. They only want money, if you pay for personal training they help you, otherwise they ignore you. Even worse, some coaches laugh and whisper in front of members about ladies who don’t know how to train, which is very disrespectful and unprofessional. Also, most of the machines are very old and many don’t work properly. I personally had a dangerous experience where a machine dropped on my legs. When I reported it and asked to see a manager, they called me the next day, but the ladies’ manager didn’t know how to deal with the situation and spoke in a very arrogant way. She kept insisting the machine was fine even though another member confirmed it was not safe and had the same experience. When I told her the gym is responsible if someone gets injured because of broken equipment, she simply said if someone is using it wrong, it’s not their responsibility, even when the machine is faulty. The attitude of most of the staff is very arrogant. They are only friendly before you register and pay, but after that they completely lack professionalism. Very disappointing experience. They only care about money, not members’ safety!
