Experience of a lifetime! I have traveled to many countries but being in the middle of nowhere, soaking in the vastness of the desert, watching the sunset behind the mountains and gazing at the starry night was an experience like no other. I booked our stay through the website which used Booking.com but the main reception worker was confused by my reservation, though he never stated why. I had booked two specific tours...sunset tour and stargazing tour directly through the camp. Upon arrival, the reception worker tried to get us to go on an earlier tour, which would not have caught the sunset and would have been in the heat of the day. That was a little annoying but after questioning, he obliged that we could stick with our original time. The stargazing tour also departed at a different time than reserved but it was dark, so that didn't matter. (When I think about it, the changing times I think was just a "cultural" thing of the time being "approximate".) The tours were exceptional and very engaging with the drivers. Our room was basic but good. We weren't expecting fancy anyway. The overhead lightbulb was burned out so we had to use our cell phone lights here and there, but it was very clean and comfortable. The dinner was exceptional! The breakfast was okay, but that mainly was just a taste preference of mine. I would recommend this adventure to anyone. It was well worth it!

Amazing location in the Wadi Rum desert! Truly amazing place. The camp is large with loads of rooms. A buffet is provided for dinner and breakfast. Although we'd booked full-board, it was quite tricky to get lunch and there was a very limited menu of food for lunch. We took the 4 hour jeep excursion and a camel ride into the desert which were both fantastic fun.
