Great short stop at home converted to restaurant. Excellent food. Perfect for lunch reflecting a home cooked meal!

Hikayet Sitti is a warm welcoming family business in a home setting that has been in the same family for three generations. I was part of large tour group but I am confident in my belief that this gem 💎 of restaurant would be equally as good if I had eaten there alone. The food was so good that we were to focussed on the flavors and various dishes that we were silent. That was a blessing because the middle daughter came in to check on us, and she told us about the house, her family, and all the recipes. They even have a cookbook. If you ate in Madaba and you want a good place that gives you a home feeling, Hikayet Sitti Food Basket is the place.

Oh man this was good. I was heading to Jerash, stopped by for lunch. Dishes took a little time so I didn't eat here then, but they were open at dinner. Fixed menus, excellent food.
