a month ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Slice of Bedouin Magic Under a Billion Stars If you’re looking for authentic, stop scrolling and book Little Petra Bedouin Camp right now. We’ve just spent a night here, and I already feel like we’ve joined a secret society of people who know what proper Jordanian hospitality feels like. First off, Mohammed, the host — what a legend. This man knows everything about the area: history, culture, hidden spots, you name it. He doesn’t just give you directions; he gives you stories. And he does it all with that warmth that makes you feel like you’ve been friends for years. The camp itself? Nestled right in the middle of those towering limestone rocks, it feels like nature decided to build its own luxury hotel. At night, the sky explodes into a firework display of stars — honestly, I’ve seen fewer stars at a planetarium. The staff were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and clearly proud to share their home with us. The food? Let’s just say I would happily walk through the Siq to Petra and back for another plate of that dinner. Breakfast was served in a cave (yes, a cave!) — so atmospheric I half expected Indiana Jones to walk in and order coffee. The whole place hums with authenticity — the campfire chats, the soft lighting, the feeling that the desert is giving you a hug. This isn’t just accommodation; it’s an experience. If you want concrete walls and sterile hotel vibes, keep looking. But if you want to fall asleep with a smile on your face, full belly, warm heart, and maybe a slightly sore neck from all that stargazing… this is the place. 10/10 would recommend. In fact, I already have — to anyone who’ll listen.

2 months agoWe stayed two nights at Little Petra Bedouin Camp. A quiet, beautiful, relaxing, comfortable place, very close to Little Petra, a ten-minute walk from the main gate. Ahmed, the manager, was very friendly and helpful, making sure we were happy. The Jordanian dinner was delicious and plentiful. After dinner, they lit hundreds of lanterns placed in the caves in the mountains surrounding the camp, and we drank tea by the fire. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Ahmed!! We definitely recommend this place.
