Seven Sisters Diving Site is one of the most popular reef diving and snorkeling locations along Aqaba’s South Beach, offering easy access to the Red Sea’s colorful coral gardens, marine life, and nearby underwater attractions. It is a favorite spot for beginner divers, certified divers, snorkelers, and visitors looking for one of the most accessible diving experiences in Aqaba.
Located on South Beach Road, Seven Sisters is known for its calm coastal setting, clear Red Sea water, and reef formations that make it suitable for guided dives and relaxed snorkeling. The site is especially attractive for travelers who want to explore Aqaba’s underwater world without joining a complicated or long diving trip.

Seven Sisters is a strong choice for visitors who want a reef-focused diving site close to Aqaba’s main South Beach diving area. The location gives divers and snorkelers a chance to see colorful fish, coral formations, and underwater scenery that represents why Aqaba is one of Jordan’s top marine tourism destinations.
The site is often appreciated because it works for different experience levels. Beginners can enjoy it with a licensed instructor or local dive center, while certified divers can use it as a comfortable reef dive with good visibility and easy shoreline access. Snorkelers can also enjoy the area from the surface when sea conditions are suitable.
Seven Sisters offers a classic Aqaba Red Sea experience: coral, reef fish, clear water, and a relaxed underwater environment. Depending on conditions and the route chosen by the dive guide, visitors may also explore nearby underwater points of interest in the South Beach diving zone.
Marine life can vary by season, visibility, and sea conditions, but the area is generally known for reef fish, coral gardens, and calm diving conditions. As with all dive sites, visitors should avoid touching coral, standing on reef areas, feeding fish, or removing anything from the sea.
Seven Sisters is one of the Aqaba diving sites that can suit first-time divers when visited with a professional instructor. Its South Beach location, reef access, and calm setting make it a practical option for introductory dives, guided snorkeling, and relaxed underwater photography.
Visitors who are new to scuba diving should book through a licensed dive center, follow the instructor’s safety briefing, and choose a dive plan that matches their comfort level. Certified divers should still check current visibility, wind, currents, and entry conditions before diving.
Seven Sisters is not only for scuba divers. Many visitors come to the area for snorkeling because the reef environment can be enjoyed without full diving equipment. Snorkelers should stay aware of boats, avoid shallow coral contact, and use reef-safe behavior at all times.
For families, casual travelers, and visitors with limited time in Aqaba, snorkeling at or near Seven Sisters can be an easy way to experience the Red Sea without committing to a full diving course.
Bring swimwear, towel, sun protection, water, and reef-safe sunscreen. Water shoes may be helpful in some shoreline areas. If you plan to dive, use a trusted local dive center and check that equipment, supervision, insurance, and safety procedures are clear before entering the water.
Morning visits are often more comfortable because the light is good, the weather may be calmer, and the site can feel less busy. Conditions can change, so always follow local guidance on the day of your visit.
Seven Sisters is part of Aqaba’s valuable marine environment. Visitors should keep a safe distance from coral, avoid touching marine life, control buoyancy carefully, and never leave waste behind. Good diving and snorkeling behavior protects the reef and keeps the site enjoyable for future visitors.
Seven Sisters Diving Site is a strong option for anyone searching for diving in Aqaba, snorkeling in Aqaba, beginner diving in Jordan, or a relaxed Red Sea reef experience near South Beach.

a week agoIt was way less crowded than other snorkeling sites. Beautiful coral and marine life. we found the submersed tank halfway between the beach and the orange bouy, a bit to the right of the bouy. Lovely snorkeling experience!

2 weeks agoWe did two dives this afternoon. We hadn't booked and arrived at the last minute, but were taken care of by the Petra Scubadiving Center team. A superb experience; the site is full of coral reefs, numerous fish, and interesting wrecks (plane, tank). The equipment was high-quality, and our instructor was very friendly. We were even given photos and videos at the end of our session. Highly recommended! We left with stars in our eyes. Thank you again.
