Souk (G2H3+9GH) is an open market area in Aqaba where outdoor stalls and small shops offer a broad mix of goods. It’s a useful place to wander if you prefer browsing a variety of vendors in one walk, especially when you’re exploring central Aqaba and want a more traditional market feel.
Visitors note a large selection across the stalls, with many sellers being helpful and giving you space to browse, even though some can be more pushy than others. If you’re looking for the kind of place where you can make several different purchases at once—souvenirs, everyday items, and market finds—this souk fits that casual, flexible style of shopping. For travelers searching “Aqaba souk” or “local market in Aqaba,” it’s a straightforward stop to experience outdoor shopping and compare options across multiple vendors in one location.

7 months agoThe outdoor stalls offer a huge selection. Some vendors are pushy, but the vast majority are very helpful. We made a wide variety of purchases and I'm very happy with our visit to this souk.
