The Old Village Resort 

Very nice hotel. The staff is excellent and friendly. You have free parking. All recommendations.

There is simply nothing I don’t like about this property! My younger daughter, who video chatted with me and asked me to show her around this hotel, which I did - she loves it as much I do too. For the rocks and stones, for the ancient feelings, for their care of every plant and flower in the property, for their beautiful curtains and decorations, for their graceful wooden furnitures with carved beautiful patterns, for their wonderful swimming pools indoor and outdoor, for their majestic overlook of the entire valley and mountains, and so much more ! Oh, their welcoming gift of fruit plate and Dead Sea mud mask and sea salt, their breakfast and dinner are both so delicious and full of variety. All the chefs did a great job cooking local meals and preparing international varieties for us. What I love the most is the atmosphere of old village - I truly felt that I lived in an old village above closer to the mountain top but so close to Petra. There is so much more I can write about this property... but you should come and experience yourself. Thank you for the kind staff to give me an upgrade to the junior suit even though I’m solo traveling! Thank you for housekeeping to unlock the door for me after I locked myself out for videotaping the morning prayer of first day in Ramadan. It was cold outside and you were fast responsive :) the pool staff was also super nice to bring me towels the moment I entered, and closed the indoor pool’s door when someone left it open in the evening strong wind. I also heard from the museum that the owner of this resort is the first guides of Petra and is a wonderful family. I can totally see that via all the tiny tiny details you put your heart into this property and make everyone happy to stay here! Thank you.
