2 years agoTourists beware. While I wanted to support the mission of this workshop I was scammed. I was quoted a price in US dollars for my art piece. Upon reviewing my credit card bank statement I was charged in JOD currency which was 30% more than quoted and paid at check out. Keep in mind that the items sold here are hundreds of dollars and 30% more is a substantial scam.

2 years agoSCAM I have to admit that Michael is a very good seller and a good liar. He sold me a fake ring of zultanite for 35 dinars and a scrub and a mud for 7 and 8 dinars when they actually cost 3 dinars in any other shop (especially in Amman). He will try to convince you by being very friendly and taking about "special prices for you". He also brought me to the pastry next to him: I paid 5 dinars for 1 dinar cookies (you have to check on the internet before you buy). Jordan is full of trustworthy people, but this is not the case.
