2 months agoI recently visited the Four Seasons Spa hoping for a peaceful and luxurious experience, but unfortunately, it was far from relaxing. Upon arrival, I was greeted and shown to the lockers area. However, the fingerprint system didn’t work, and my locker wouldn’t open. I had to wait after my session for security to come and unlock it, which was frustrating. The robe was old, slippers were plastic and uncomfortable. The massage itself was fine (Nina did a great job and I appreciated her technique) but the overall spa experience was disappointing. After the session, I sat in the corridor area outside the treatment rooms to have my tea, and a child around 6–7 years old was there with his nanny, loudly singing and making constant noise. The space, which should’ve been quiet and peaceful, felt more like a playground. It completely disrupted any sense of calm. I wasn’t given a tour or shown where the other facilities were, so I didn’t get to enjoy or even explore what the spa offers. In fact, because of the noise and the lack of atmosphere, I just wanted to leave instead of staying to relax. I told the receptionist about the bad experience, her only comment was (there shouldn't be kids, I'll go see the kid) even though the kid walked right past the reception area minutes before I did. After mentioning my experience publicly, I found out this is not an isolated incident, many others have complained about children being present and noisy. If you're looking for a calm, adult-only, peaceful spa experience, this is unfortunately not the place.
