a week agoHorrible experience! For me, it was pure theft. I have no complaints about the vehicle. However, when I returned the vehicle, which I returned in perfect condition after a thorough wash inside and out, there were no dents, dents, or scratches during the rental. However, the employee at the time of return said there were a few tiny dents barely visible to the naked eye on the windshield. They charged me the full price of the windshield, 220 dinars (€260), and forced me to sign the document because I was stuck anyway and had to catch my flight. For me, this is unacceptable, and I will never rent from Europcar again and will tell all my friends and family to never use them. I feel like I was the victim of extortion, even though I turned to Europcar, thinking it was a reputable company! What a mistake...

2 weeks agoAvoid at any cost. My flight was delayed, and when I arrived to pick up my rental car, the staff immediately dismissed me as a “no show” and refused to honor my booking. Instead of offering any understanding or assistance, they were shockingly rude, condescending, and unhelpful. After a long and exhausting flight, I was left stranded without a car, not because of anything I did wrong, but because this company has zero flexibility and staff who clearly don’t care about their customers. No solutions, no alternatives — just arrogance and hostility. For a business in the travel industry, where flight delays are a common reality, their attitude and policies are absolutely unacceptable. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and treats customers with complete disregard. I will never use them again, and I strongly urge anyone considering them to look elsewhere if they value basic respect and dependable service. Avoid this company at all costs.
