Restaurants in Ayla Aqaba
If you are trying to figure out where to eat in Ayla Aqaba, the first thing to know is that Ayla is not built around one dining strip. The food scene is spread across several parts of the destination: Marina Village, the hotel side, the golf club, and beach venues such as B12, Mama Gaia, and La Plage. Ayla’s official dining and destination pages make that clear. Dining here is part of the wider Ayla experience rather than a separate standalone zone.
Ayla dining is best understood as part of a wider Aqaba stay. Some visitors come to Ayla for a marina dinner, others combine it with a beach-club day, a hotel stay, or a relaxed evening after diving or snorkeling. If you are still planning the overall trip, start with the Aqaba guide to compare areas, beaches, activities, transport, and itinerary options. This page then helps you focus specifically on where to eat inside Ayla.
That is useful because it means your best restaurant in Ayla Aqaba depends more on the kind of meal you want than on one fixed “top area.” If you want a marina-side evening, Marina Village makes the most sense. If you want something tied to a hotel stay, the Hyatt side is more relevant. If you are spending the day at the beach, the best meal may be part of the beach club itself. And if golf is the reason you are there, Silica is the obvious first stop.

How dining in Ayla Aqaba is structured
The easiest way to understand restaurants in Ayla Aqaba is by area.
Marina Village
Marina Village is Ayla’s most social dining area. Ayla describes it as the heart of the community, combining dining, shopping, and leisure around the marina atmosphere. If you want a meal that feels connected to a walk, sunset views, or an evening out, this is usually the best place to start.
Hotel side
The hotel side is more useful when your meal is part of a stay, a resort day, or a polished evening plan. Ayla’s official dining pages list hotel-linked venues such as Vista Lounge & Bar, The Olive Tree, Cascades, RED Restaurant and Lounge, and Tapas del Mar.
Golf side
If you are at Ayla Golf Club, Silica is the obvious dining stop. Ayla’s own materials and FAQ pages place Silica within the golf side of Ayla and also reference it in Ayla’s sustainability and dining context.
Beach venues
Ayla’s beach pages show clearly that dining is built into the beach experience at B12, Mama Gaia, and La Plage. So if your day is built around the beach, you may not need to leave that venue for food at all.
Marina Village restaurants in Ayla Aqaba
ANKYRA
ANKYRA is one of the clearest named Marina Village restaurants on Ayla’s official dining pages. Ayla describes it as a Greek restaurant in Marina Village with a chic, elegant setting. This is a good fit if you want a proper sit-down dinner rather than a quick casual stop. Marina Village also makes it easy to build the meal into a broader evening around the marina.
What it suits best:
- couples
- evening meals
- marina-side atmosphere
- visitors who want a more polished dinner
Marina Village in general
Ayla positions Marina Village as a broader food-and-leisure district, not just one restaurant stop. That matters because venues can shift over time, and the village itself is part of the draw. If you want to browse and choose on the spot, this is the easiest area to do that.
Hotel restaurants in Ayla Aqaba
Vista Lounge & Bar
Ayla’s own content highlights Hyatt’s lounge as a place for drinks or meals with marina views. This makes Vista one of the best picks if the setting matters as much as the meal. It fits especially well for late afternoon, sunset, or a more relaxed evening.
The Olive Tree
The Olive Tree is Ayla’s best-known all-day hotel restaurant name on the Hyatt side. It is a practical choice if you want a reliable sit-down meal inside the resort environment rather than heading into Marina Village.
Cascades
Cascades sits in the Hyatt-side dining mix and works best as part of a resort-led day. If you are staying at Hyatt Regency or spending most of your time on that side of Ayla, it makes sense to keep this venue in mind.
RED Restaurant and Lounge
RED Restaurant and Lounge is one of the named Hyatt dining venues presented on Ayla’s official site. It is a stronger fit for evening dining than for a quick daytime stop, especially if you want something more polished than casual beach or golf dining.
Tapas del Mar
Tapas del Mar is one of the more distinctive Ayla restaurant names because it suggests a more marina-facing, seafood-leaning mood. If you want a slower meal with a stronger evening feel, this is one of the most natural names to keep in the shortlist.
Beach restaurants and beach club dining in Ayla Aqaba
B12 Beach Club
B12 is one of the most useful all-round dining options in Ayla if your day is beach-led. Ayla describes it as featuring all-day dining, drinks, and family-friendly beach activity, which makes it a practical lunch or early-evening stop when you do not want to leave the beach area. Ayla’s FAQ also notes Green Key certification for B12 and references B12 Beach in its sustainability credentials.
Best for:
- beach day lunches
- families
- casual meals
- a flexible, all-day stop
Mama Gaia
Mama Gaia is one of the strongest names in Ayla for a more stylish beach meal. Ayla presents it as a premium beach club with Sardinian-Jordanian fusion cuisine, signature cocktails, poolside lounging, beach access, and OUM nightclub. This makes it one of the clearest options for adults, couples, and groups who want dining as part of a longer beach club atmosphere.
Best for:
- couples
- adult groups
- beach club dining
- later afternoon and sunset mood
La Plage Beach Club
La Plage is the beach dining option most directly linked to the Hyatt Regency side. Ayla’s top beaches page presents it as part of the Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort experience. If you are already staying there or spending the day on the resort side, it can be the easiest beach-and-meal combination in Ayla. Ayla’s FAQ also references La Plage Beach Club and Restaurant in the destination’s sustainability recognitions.
Best for:
- Hyatt guests
- families
- easy resort-side beach meals
- visitors who want convenience over moving between zones
Golf-side dining in Ayla Aqaba
Silica
Silica is the clearest golf-linked restaurant in Ayla. Ayla associates it with the golf side and also mentions it in destination FAQs around certified venues. If your day includes Ayla Golf Club, Silica is the most practical place to eat without breaking the rhythm of the day.
This is the best fit for:
- lunch after golf
- casual meals
- mixed groups where not everyone is playing
- a stop before moving on to Marina Village or the hotel side
If golf is part of your Ayla plan, see Ayla Golf Club Aqaba Guide.
Where to eat in Ayla Aqaba by mood
For a marina dinner
Choose Marina Village or Vista Lounge. These are the best options if the atmosphere matters as much as the food and you want the meal to feel part of a waterfront evening.
For a casual lunch
B12 or Silica are the easiest choices. They suit daytime plans and do not require building the whole day around a formal meal.
For couples
ANKYRA, Mama Gaia, RED, and Vista Lounge are the strongest names to consider first. They fit better when you want the setting to carry part of the experience.
For families
B12, La Plage, and the broader Hyatt side are the safest starting points because they are more naturally tied to beach time, flexibility, and a wider resort setup.
For a full Ayla day
A very practical pattern is:
- morning golf or marina time
- lunch at Silica or B12
- slower afternoon
- sunset or dinner in Marina Village or Hyatt-side dining
That is where Ayla works well. You can move between dining styles without leaving the district.
Restaurants in Ayla Aqaba for hotel guests
If you are staying inside Ayla, the best restaurant choice often comes down to where your hotel sits in the district.
- Hyatt Regency guests will usually find the hotel side and La Plage more convenient
- Cloud7 guests may get more value from Marina Village dining because the village is part of the draw of that stay style
- golf-led stays connect most naturally with Silica first, then a second stop later in the day

For the wider activity side, see things to do in Ayla Aqaba.
Is Ayla a good place to eat in Aqaba?
Yes, especially if you want a meal tied to a wider setting rather than just a standalone restaurant stop. Ayla’s strength is not that all restaurants are in one strip. Its strength is that food sits naturally inside the marina, beach, golf, and hotel experience. That makes it especially good for:
- half-day outings
- dinner after beach time
- golf-and-lunch plans
- couples and groups
- hotel stays where you want more than one dining mood
